Who is Erika? Is she the right choice for my business?

Erika Brown completed her Masters of Science degree in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics from University of Maryland Baltimore School of Pharmacy in May 2021. She is a former Major in the United States Air Force.  After graduating from the United States Air Force Academy in 2002 with a degree in Chemistry, Erika went on to become a nuclear weapons operator at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota.  She spent four years on alert in underground facilities, focusing on presidential emergency war orders, weapon system maintenance, and nuclear weapon implementation.  During this time, Erika also earned a Masters of Science degree in Space Studies.

In 2007, the Air Force sent Erika to be chemist at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida.  While stationed there at the Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC), she worked on supporting the US nuclear treaty monitoring mission.  She also volunteered to spend a year tour in Baghdad, Iraq, where she worked with the Department of State’s Iraqi Transition Assistance Office at the US Embassy.  During this time, she wrote congressional testimony,  briefed 4 star generals, and monitored the growth of the Iraqi electrical grid.

Upon returning to the States in 2010, Erika resumed her duties at AFTAC as a nuclear physicist, writing technical reports in support of the nuclear treaty monitoring mission.  In 2011, she was selected for the prestigious Regional Affairs Strategist Program and moved to Monterey, California to attend the Defense Language Institute and the Naval Postgraduate School.  She earned her Masters of Arts in Western European Security Studies and qualification as a Military Linguist (Italian) in 2013.  She spent six months living in Rome, Italy and Prague, Czech Republic for immersive studies before transferring to the Pentagon in 2014.

While at the Pentagon, Erika worked for the Deputy Secretary of the Air Force for International Affairs as a country desk officer. She was responsible for ensuring the successful acquisition of F-16 fighter jets by the Romanian Air Force.  She wrote briefings, congressional notifications, informational papers, and speeches for a wide variety of customers including the Chief of Staff of the Romanian Air Force.

Erika is now living with her daughter in northern Texas.  She has been accepted to AOMA in Austin, TX for Acupuncture and Chinese medicine and will start in Fall 2021.  See Erika’s resume.
